First Scrimmage

By Steve Patella 10/15/2022, 8:30pm EDT

Thank you all for attending our first scrimmage of the season! Looking out over the gym and parking lot today, it is truly extraordinary to see where we are at just the start of our second season. I’m not going to say it has been easy, but if the destination is actually the journey, it has been a wild, crazy, bumpy, and very fulfilling ride.

Thank you all for joining our “little club” that had a crazy idea of how club volleyball can be just a little better if parents, athletes, coaches and directors work together to build a path for our young athletes to travel. It goes without saying we wouldn’t be able to do this without you.

So, as we begin to wrap up mini season and go full speed into club season (aka tournament season) .... GET READY! YOU AIN’T SEEN NOTHIN YET!!”

We will be hosting tryouts on November 5th to provide active competition for spots currently held by mini season athletes on our teams as well as spots on 5 new teams we hope to build as Western High School becomes a third practice site in the very near future. Athletes already enrolled in COMBO & ELITE packages need NOT tryout. However, if you would like the opportunity to try out for a team with a different coach or different level, we will have teams listed with spots that are coming available very soon. These lists will be located in the cafeteria nightly.

Be on the lookout for information about Beach Volleyball Conditioning, future scrimmage dates, Club Season Tryouts (11/5) and of course our MUCH-anticipated COACHES’ GAME!!

Thank you again for everything,
Steve

Thanks to all who attended tryouts!

By Steve Patella 07/24/2022, 11:30am EDT

It's a time of great enthusiasm in the club volleyball world. Athletes (and parents) are filling the weekend with many club tryouts.

For all of those who have already made the commitment to continue with or join our family, thank you, the journey is going to be great!

For the rest, our intention is not to make an already stressful process even more stressful with time deadlines, so please do your due diligence, complete tryouts this weekend, then let us know.

If after completion of tryouts I can answer any questions, please feel free to call me anytime.

Sincerely,
Steve
